Start with one small step
Make a change by a little step. Pick one practice you can finish today, read its safety lines, and stop while it still feels easy. Tomorrow can be the same step again.
- 01
About five minutes
Sit, breathe easily, and roll the shoulders
Use a stable chair. Keep the breath comfortable, with no holding. The full sequence, and when to stop, is on the practice page.
- Feet on the floor, hands resting on the thighs.
- A few easy breaths, then slow shoulder rolls.
- Stop for pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or unusual shortness of breath.
- 02
About five minutes
A slow rub of the hands and forearms
Read the skip list first. Pressure stays pleasant. This is self-massage, not a clinical tuina treatment, and it does not replace professional care.
- Wash your hands and sit down.
- Circle the palm, then stroke the soft part of the forearm.
- Skip broken skin, numbness, strong pain, and the areas listed in the safety note.
- 03
About half an hour
Cook one ordinary warm bowl
If you have a pot and the time, make a plain millet congee, or a grain porridge you already know how to cook safely. It is food, not a medicine.
- Rinse the grain, simmer it until soft, and salt it lightly.
- Cook any egg until the white and yolk are firm.
- Refrigerate leftovers promptly and reheat them until steaming.
